Design Files Overview

Design Files contain references to different assets that are used in the production of marketing materials for promotions. Each Design File is a database that links a reference to an asset in a database/filesystem.

During the APPEND PROCESS DecaSIM can insert references to these assets in an OPTIMIZED FILE.

Standard Format​

Design assets are files that contain product, promotion and design data that are either fixed in time or change every 3 - 4 campaign cycles. The standard fields for each DESIGN FILE are:

  • Name
  • Asset_Type
  • Asset_Description
  • Asset_ID_Field_Name
  • Asset_Source_Name
  • Versions : True/False
  • Duplications : True/False .File can have duplicate entries for values of Asset_ID_Field_Name

Importing​

Design Files can only be imported using the Excel Import process, requiring user configuration to identify and specify the types of files that can be imported via this feature.
