Configurations
Customer Admins
can use configurations to make run-time changes to the behavior of DecaSIM. Configurations can be divided into two broad groups:
- Customizable Configurations.
- System Configurations.
Customizable Configurations
These configurations are intended to be changed at run-time as the customer enhances, uploads more data, and customizes their own DecaSIM account. These configurations include:
Excel Import
configurations: These configs tell DecaSIM what information to extract from a spreadsheet - whether it is data in a structured table or in a more complex representation.Design Append
configurations: These configs tell DecaSIM what pricing, promotion and design information to append to aDesign File
.
These configurations comprise both Two Parameter
and Three Parameter
configurations.
System Configurations
These are one configurations that connect DecaSIM with a customer's file content and data structure. These one-time configurations include:
Price File Mapping
*: DecaSIM needs to map between customer field names forRegular Price
,Price Zone
andItem Code
and its internal names for these fields.Promo File Mapping
*: As with regular price field names, DecaSIM needs to identify customer-specific fields forDiscount Price
,Brand Family
andPromotion Key
so it can map them to internal names.Product File Mapping
*: These configurations map between customer labels and DecaSIM product metadata field names.Template File Mapping
*: Templates are used to specify the base layouts for a catalog or circular.S3 Configurations
: Provide Secret Key / Access Key for S3 Buckets. Files can be imported from SFTP folders or S3 buckets or Uploaded via the browser.SFTP Configurations
: Create SFTP locations along with access credentials.
The configurations denoted with an * are used to detect what file type is being uploaded into DecaSIM. A single file that contains the minimum required fields found in Promo File
and Price File
can be used to update both.
